YSTN - Copenhagen, Innovation and the race to tackle climate change
23 Mar 2010
18:00 onwards
Venue:
Doncaster Racecourse
Yorkshire Science and Technology Network (YSTN) Event - Copenhagen, Innovation and the race to tackle climate change event will take place on Tuesday 23rd March at Doncaster Racecourse.
The Copenhagen Summit in December 2009 demonstrated the complexity of establishing a global approach to climate change, leaving businesses unsure how to plan for an internationally regulated carbon emissions environment. This event will demonstrate how Yorkshire and Humber is leading the way in the innovation race to a low carbon economy and rising to the challenge of climate change.
Join us to discuss the next generation of biofuels, investigate the contributions from our regional businesses and find out how to take advantage of these new opportunities.
The Yorkshire Science and Technology Network aims to increase collaboration between innovative companies based in the Yorkshire and Humber region and the outstanding technology research base that exists within the region’s higher education institutions.
The event will take place at Doncaster as part of the
iFestival Programme. The event will also coincide with
EU Sustainable Energy Week (22-26 March), the reference event for sustainable issues in Europe.
